Bride and Groom walk down the street in Nashville Tennessee

As a wedding photographer, nothing excites me more than the opportunity to travel and capture love stories in new places. So when Amanda and Jon reached out to me to document their wedding in Nashville, Tennessee, I was beyond thrilled. What made this wedding even more special was that it had been rescheduled due to the pandemic. Through all the uncertainty and delays, Amanda and Jon showed so much patience, and their unwavering commitment to each other made the day even more meaningful. Their intimate ceremony was the perfect reflection of their love—a small gathering of the closest family and friends in a city full of charm and music.

Before the wedding, I had the chance to photograph Amanda and Jon’s engagement session in Park City. We strolled through the iconic Main Street, capturing their natural connection amidst the historic buildings and mountain backdrop. The energy of the location perfectly mirrored their playful and loving relationship, and I knew their wedding would be just as beautiful. It was such a joy to work with them in my hometown, and I couldn’t wait to join them in Nashville to capture their big day.

Nashville was everything I hoped it would be and more. The couple’s new home there was the perfect setting for their celebration, and the city’s Southern charm added the perfect touch to their intimate ceremony. Though their guest list was small, every moment was packed with meaning. It was a day of laughter, love, and a true reflection of what mattered most to Amanda and Jon. The bond they shared was undeniable, and it was such an honor to witness and capture their vows in this special place.

One of my favorite parts of the day was taking their portraits on one of Nashville’s iconic bridges. Despite the freezing temperatures, Amanda and Jon were all smiles, and the cold didn’t faze them. Their love warmed up the entire scene, and we got some truly stunning shots with the city skyline as a backdrop. It was a reminder of just how powerful love can be, even on the coldest of days.

Traveling to Nashville to document Amanda and Jon’s wedding was such an incredible experience. The city’s vibrant energy, the kindness of its people, and the beauty of the surroundings made it a destination I’ll never forget. It was so special to be a part of their journey, and I can’t wait to photograph another wedding there soon. Nashville is full of endless possibilities for wedding photography, from its picturesque locations to its lively atmosphere. I’d be honored to return and capture more couples' love stories in this amazing city.
