Tunnel Springs Portraits in Salt Lake City, Utah | Michael Ali
A Fun Anniversary Portrait Session in Salt Lake City with Michael & Ali
After their gorgeous wedding at Red Butte Gardens, Michael and Ali wanted to take some extra portraits in their wedding outfits but life got pretty busy after they said "I do." By the time we could finally set something up, we decided to make it a fun anniversary shoot instead! They’d just added a new dog to their family, so we thought it would be the perfect way to capture some casual, yet meaningful memories.
We headed out to Tunnel Springs in Bountiful, Utah, just outside of Salt Lake City, on a perfect summer evening. Normally this spot can get pretty crowded, but we lucked out and had the place to ourselves. We spent the evening running through the hills, soaking in the sunset, and just having a blast. It was so much fun hanging out with Michael, Ali, and their adorable new pup!
It was such a joy to catch up with Michael and Ali a year after their wedding. It felt like we were picking up right where we left off, and meeting their new furry family member was the cherry on top. What a perfect night for celebrating love and new beginnings!
Why You Should Book an Anniversary Session
An anniversary session is a great way to celebrate the time you’ve spent together and the memories you’ve made. Whether it’s your first year or your tenth, it’s a fun opportunity to capture the love and connection you share now. Life moves fast, and sometimes we forget to pause and appreciate the moments, so an anniversary shoot is the perfect excuse to slow down and make new memories with the one you love.
Plus, it’s a great chance to revisit your wedding outfits or add a new element, like including a growing family or your pets. It's all about having fun, enjoying each other’s company, and capturing the little things that make your relationship special. It’s less about the photos themselves and more about the experience—laughing, being yourselves, and creating images you’ll look back on for years to come.
