Natural History Museum of Utah Wedding in Salt Lake City, Utah | Don and Jenn
Don and Jenn’s wedding at Utah’s Natural History Museum was my first opportunity to photograph a wedding at this unique venue, and I was immediately captivated by its architecture. The museum’s modern lines and expansive views created a setting that felt both grand and personal, offering a perfect blend of elegance and warmth for their celebration. Each space within the museum provided a beautiful, distinctive backdrop that brought so much character to their day.
Their wedding was simple yet refined—truly a reflection of who they are. Don and Jenn wanted a day that felt genuine to them, without any excess, and each detail complemented their style perfectly. The understated decor and effortless ambiance created a sense of elegance that felt welcoming and authentic, making every moment feel like a natural extension of their personalities.
Throughout the day, it was clear just how kind and thoughtful Don and Jenn are. They’re genuinely one of the sweetest couples I’ve worked with—always warm, considerate, and deeply in tune with each other. Their happiness was so evident in every glance and touch, making it a joy to capture those real, intimate moments that truly reflected their relationship.
The Natural History Museum turned out to be an incredible backdrop for portraits as well. With its dramatic staircase, open glass walls overlooking the Salt Lake City skyline, and unique angles, each space offered something fresh. This setting, combined with Don and Jenn’s effortless connection, made for images that feel timeless and personal.
I can’t say enough about how much I loved working at the Natural History Museum. Not only does it provide endless options for both ceremony and reception settings, but it’s a place that truly elevates each couple’s vision. From its modern architecture to its diverse portrait locations, the museum has something special to offer every wedding, making it a venue I look forward to revisiting.
